Founding member and General Secretary of Trinidad and Tobago Karate Union (TTKU).

Chairman of the Technical Committee of TTKU.

S.K.I.F. qualified Instructor, Examiner and Judge.

Director of S.K.I.F.T.T.'s National Tournaments.

Coach for S.K.I.F.T.T. at all local and international tournaments.

Coach for S.K.I.F.T.T. Nesfit Women on the Move 5K of which we are the present champions of the Gym/Fitness category.

1991 Inducted into the Caribbean Martial Arts Hall of Fame.

1995 Attained 4th Dan Black Belt in California, U.S.A., under examination by Shihan Hirokazu Kanazawa, Founder and Head of S.K.I.F., Japan.

1997 Received, at S.K.I.F.T.T.'s National Karate Championship, the Samurai Cup from Shihan Hirokazu Kanazawa, Founder and Head of S.K.I.F., Japan, for the "True Spirit of Karate-do through Thoughts, Words, and Deeds.


1998 Received Raffie Knowles WITCO Memorial Award for "Most Dedicated Sensei ".

1999 Completed the "Sport Administration" Olympic Solidarity course offered by the National Olympic Committee of Trinidad and Tobago, held from May 19th - 23rd , 1999.

1999 Completed the "Sport Administration "Olympic Solidarity course offered by the National Olympic Committee of Trinidad and Tobago, held from December 1st - 5th 1999.

1999 Received TTKU Award for "Dedicated Service and Commitment".

1999 Received TTKU Award for "Continued Years of Dedicated Service and Commitment to the Art of Karate-do."

1999 As Head Instructor of S.K.I.F.T.T. received TTKU Award in recognition as Foundation Member of 1st National Body for Karate of Trinidad & Tobago.

1999 As Head Instructor of S.K.I.F.T.T. received TTKU Award for "Most Supportive School 1999".

2000 Attained 5th Dan Black Belt on April 20, 2000 in Bali, Indonesia under examination by Shihan Hirokazu Kanazawa, Founder and Head of S.K.I.F., Japan. He competed in the Kata and Kumite division.

1992 Staged a demonstration of the discipline of Karate for the Prime Minister, the Honourable Patrick Manning, and the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs Award Presentation at the Jean Pierre Complex, Port of Spain.

1993 Director and Producer of Yukute Fusion of Martial Arts and Music at Queen's Hall, Port of Spain, featuring S.K.I.F.T.T., Robert Munroe,David Rudder, Tricia Lee Kelshall, Hilton Danzell, Barbara Flemming,Roger Israel, Richard Nappy Mayers, Neil Lee-Luck and Sean Bailey. Mrs. Hazel Manning, wife of the Honourable Prime Minister Patrick Manning, was the guest of honour.

1994 Invited by Mrs. Hazel Manning, wife of the Honourable Prime Minister Patrick Manning for an official visit at the Prime Minister's Residence.

1996 Conducted Training / Clinic and Grading examination in St. Lucia,S.K.I.F.

1996 Hosted A demonstration for the Adult Literacy Tutors Association fundraising Bazaar at Trinidad Hilton.

1997 Hosted a demonstration for the Adult Literacy Tutors Association fundraising Bazaar at Trinidad Hilton.

1997 Organized S.K.I.F.T.T. l3th National Tournament which was arbitrated by Shihan Hirokazu Kanazawa,the highest official and founder of S.K.I., and Sensei Ichikawa.

1997 Conducted a one-week clinic/training for S.K.I. Dojo, London.

1999 Hosted a demonstration for the Por L Innocence at their fundraising Tea Party & Fashion Show at Cascadia Hotel.

1999 Conducted TTKU's 1st Training Seminar in Judging and Refereeing at Jean Pierre Complex

1999 Participated in a Kumite clinic conducted by Mr. William Millerson,President of PKF and Vice-President of WKF at UWI.

1999 Presented S.K.I.F.T.T. to the public at TTKU Seminar entitled "What is Karate ".

2000 Participated in the Seminar at the 7th S.K.I.F. World championship in Bali, Indonesia.

2000 Participated in a demonstration for the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs Youth Festival at the Queens Park Savannah.

2000 Organized the TTKU 1st National Team Training Session at the Jean Pierre Complex.

2000 Organized the Teams that competed in the Trinidad & Tobago Olympic Committee Relay Run. The Male Teams placed Second and Third in their category.
